To use the You Search and We Match areas of JobShop.com, a User
is required to register with some basic demographic and email information. Part
of the registration process requires the selection of a Password to complement
your email address as a User name. This information is only used to assist you
in pre-populating user-selectable forms on the website such as real-time RFQ’s
that you may decide to send to possible vendors.
Log Files
JobShop.com, like many websites, uses log files to anonymously track the IP
addresses of visitors to our Web site. The Internet uses your computer's IP
adddress to deliver information to and from your computer. We use log files to
analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movements and gather broad
demographic information for aggregate use. These log files and IP addresses are
not linked to personally identifiable information.
Other Areas
JobShop.com also retains email addresses of those who communicate with us via
email, information volunteered by site visitors or survey information.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing

users submit sensitive information via JobShop.com, your information is
protected both online and offline.
JobShop.com uses advanced security technology to ensure that your designs,
intellectual property and personal data remain private within our site. While
no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure,
JobShop.com strives to protect your information, but cannot ensure or warrant
the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products
or services.
Data uploads to JobShop.com are protected by log-in security and SSL 128-bit
encryption. Downloads of converted data are protected by log-in security and
SSL 128-bit encryption. Your data is protected.
Your data is not warehoused on our servers. Forty eight hours after download by
the selected Job Shop vendors as part of a real-time RFQ, your data is deleted
from our servers.
The data we provide to Job Shops with your real-time RFQ is in a proprietary
file format. It can only be utilized by our free Viewer. It is not the RAW data
that can be reverse engineered, but it can be fully interrogated and used for
collaborative and quoting purposes quite efficiently. If you do choose to send
the RAW data to a particular Job Shop (i.e. for upload to their CAM), that RAW
data is deleted from our servers forty eight hours after download, as well.
