Casting is a process in which molten metal is poured or injected and allowed to solidify in a suitably shaped mold cavity. Brass is an alloy composed of copper and zinc. Brass is stronger than copper and has a more yellow color and will tarnish when exposed to the air if not coated with a clear protective coating.
