These couplings are mechanical elements that connect two shafts, transmitting torque constantly from the driving shaft to the driven shaft. Rubber couplings are also used when installing a pump, UV or other device that you may need to quickly disconnect.
Connectors interface or disconnect between equipment and circuits. This in turn enables connection or disconnection between the two desired components, and is in general composed of an insulator, contact and components.
