Coatings - Plastic Dip

Dip coating involves dipping steel into plastic to coat it. It's useful for coating complicated shapes, and prevents rust.

Anything that can withstand 200 degrees centigrade can be dip coated in plastic. To do this, metal is heated to 200 degrees centigrade in an oven. It is then placed in a box that has plastic particles blown around in it. Those plastic particles melt over the hot metal to coat it.
