Aluminum - Materials

Aluminum is an important engineering material because of its high strength-to-weight ratio, resistance to corrosion, high thermal and electrical conductivity, appearance, machinability, and formability. Among its many uses, aluminum is used for packaging, structures, electrical conductors, and consumer goods. Aluminum in raw material form can be provided as coils, sheets, blanks or strips.
