Gaskets, Seals, Washers & O-rings

Quality stamping processes are used to manufacture gaskets, seals and washers. A gasket is generally regarded as a layer of material between surfaces or parts that are in contact and need to be sealed. It can be die cut or made by steel rule cutting from elastomers, rubbers, felt, paper, metals or plastics. Seals render contacting or connecting joints airtight and fluid-tight to prevent the entry or escape of air, solids and liquids that could contaminate or damage the joint being protected. Washers are defined as annular pieces that can be flat, "waved" or textured. They are usually used under a nut or between two mating surfaces to provide a tight joint. KEYWORDS for this process: o rings, grommets
