High Definition Plasma Cutting

When cutting lighter material plasma cutting is frequently the most efficient means of cutting. Plasma cutting uses special torches, power supplies and nozzles to control a stream of ionized gas. The stream of gas, usually oxygen or nitrogen, can cut through carbon steels, aluminum and stainless steel. With cutting speeds of well over 100" per minute, depending upon the thickness and type of material, plasma cutting also can cut without the warpage that can occur with other thermal cutting methods.

High definition plasma cutting is a process that improves the squareness and edge quality on thinner materials (3/8" and less) by increasing the energy density of the ionized gas stream.
