Miniature Precision Machining

Miniature machining techniques have long produced precision metal components with critical dimensions as small as a millimeter. And emerging micromachining technologies can now turn out silicon MEMS (microelectromechanical) systems components with sub-micron resolution. Very small precision parts and complex miniature devices can be made from almost all materials.

Methodologies include CNC milling machines; jewelers and CNC lathes; ram and wire EDMs; laser machining, jig bores and micro-milling and turning. Industries served include telecommunications (microwave), semiconductor equipment, valve, laser, medical and others.
