Advanced Graphic Systems Rebrands to AGS Additive Manufacturing, Joins America Makes Community

FORT WORTH, Texas–AGS, formerly Advanced Graphics Systems, recently announced that it has rebranded to AGS Additive Manufacturing.

"AGS is a pioneer in 3D printing in metal and CNC machining," said Kevin Goold, AGS 3D printing manager. "Even with our rich history, we felt we needed a fresh face for today's product engineers who are highly attuned to additive manufacturing."

AGS Additive Manufacturing (www.ags-am.com) is a third-generation, veteran-owned business based in Fort Worth, Texas. The company specializes in 3D printing in metals such as steel, aluminum, titanium, copper, cobalt chrome, and Inconel for the aerospace, medical, military, and robotics industries.

"With the very latest 3D printing tech and 70 pieces of machining equipment, we have capabilities that many suppliers can't match," said Benny Araujo, vice president of marketing.

AGS Additive Manufacturing also announced that it has joined the extensive America Makes Community. America Makes is a membership community of more than 170 organizations that serves as a national accelerator for additive manufacturing and 3D printing. The organization functions as a collaborative partner in additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology research, discovery, creation, and innovation.

"We look forward to collaborating with other leaders in the AM field," said Goold. "Being a third generation, veteran-owned company, we appreciate the pride this impressive group has in keeping America at the forefront of additive manufacturing."

As part of Goold Holdings, AGS is a sister company to Southwest Industrial Services Inc., AAA Canlines, and AAA industrial Chromium Company.
