CRESTVIEW, Fla.– American Elite Molding is expanding its commitment to American manufacturing to every point throughout its supply chain by utilizing American-made raw materials and supplies, such as bags, boxes, and labels. The company produces more than 1.5 billion cable ties annually at its plant in Crestview, Florida, using nylon manufactured by DuPont in the United States with local employees.
The plant was recently expanded by 20,000 square feet, adding 40 new high-quality jobs. The company plans to double in size within the next five years while maintaining all production processes in the United States and endeavoring to use all American suppliers, the company said in a press release.
"We have grown by double digits every year since we opened our doors as an American manufacturer in 2004," said American Elite Molding CEO and Founder Robert Sires, in the release. "We see enormous competitive advantages in keeping all of our production here in the U.S., including quality control, reduced distribution costs, and faster shipping times.
"We also find that having our management and staff in one location facilitates innovation, problem-solving, and productivity," Sires continued. "As part of our commitment to American manufacturing, we want to help other American companies succeed and grow; to this end, we work with our clients as partners to ensure that they are getting the products they need when they need them."
