The company achieved AS9100 Rev. D certification after an extensive analysis of its quality systems by BSI Group America, and is reported to be one of the region's first companies to obtain the certification.
"ADM's certification is a significant accomplishment and they are to be recognized for their efforts to instill quality throughout the production process and the organization as a whole," stated Todd VanderVen, president of BSI Group America, in a press release.
According to ADM's founder and chairman, Tony Augustine, AS9100 Rev. D is a crucial achievement for the company's future. "It not only demonstrates our commitment to quality, but also a commitment to our clients in the aerospace and defense markets," he said in a statement.
James Brown, president and CEO of ADM, said that ADM "has always strived to take a leadership position in quality-based manufacturing," ensuring the company's "commitment to supply the very best components" to its customers. "We are exceptionally proud of our team and their efforts to achieve the AS9100 Rev. D certification."
