RANDOM LAKE, Wis.–Badger Tag & Label recently held a grand opening of its new facility at N507 Badger Way in Random Lake, Wisconsin, in May. The new facility serves as Badger's main office, as well as the production areas for digital and flexographic printing, and rewind operations.

The facility is Badger's second in the Random Lake area. The company continues to use its original 30,000-square-foot building at 83 Bentert Street for its prepress department, letterpress printing, and finishing operations. The new 22,000-square-foot building is located just east of Highway 57, off of County Road RR, east of Random Lake. The building is set on 12 acres on Badger Way.

In addition to the main/corporate offices and production areas, the new building also has warehouse, storage, and receiving areas. The production area houses four flexographic presses for printing custom tags and labels; digital equipment and a plotter cutter used for specialty projects; and the rewind machines.

"We're already utilizing the new facility, and the expanded space has been instrumental in our continued growth," said Kevin Kalkofen, vice president at Badger, in a company release. "The grand opening introduced this state-of-the art building to our local community. Over the next few months, we'll also be extending private tour invitations to our customers throughout the nation."

Badger Tag & Label Corp. produces tags and labels for customers throughout the nation. Badger prints flexographic and letterpress on paper and synthetic stocks and delivers the finished pieces in singles, rolls, sheets, ganged, or fan-folded. The company also has digital printing capabilities for production of short run and specialty projects. Badger offers a variety of finishing options, and said that it "provides a custom piece from initial design and development through final delivery."
