Dacor Continues Commitment to Design and Manufacture in California

LOS ANGELES—Celebrating 50 years as a manufacturer of premium kitchen appliances, Dacor® will continue to produce in California despite the state’s challenging business climate.

“Reduced labor costs and tax incentives in other states may be attractive, but we are committed to designing and manufacturing in California,” said CEO Chuck Huebner in a press release. “Dacor has always called California home, and we look forward to calling it home for another fifty years.”

Since 1965, the Los Angeles area has provided Dacor with an inspirational atmosphere where innovation thrives. Dacor says that it remains focused on designing and manufacturing ultra-premium, American made products, and is committed to maintaining a southern
California headquarters.

“Our products are a direct reflection of the craftsmanship of skilled associates and the resources provided by the Los Angeles region,” said President Steve Joseph in the release. “Other companies see California’s complex business environment as a barrier, but for the past fifty years it has inspired us to be more innovative and resourceful.”
