EMS Provider MC Assembly Inks New Manufacturing Contract with United Electric Controls

MELBOURNE, Fla.— MC Assembly, a mid-tier electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, recently announced that it has signed a new manufacturing contract with Boston-based United Electric Controls.

United Electric Controls is a global supplier of pressure and temperature switches, transmitters, controls, and sensors. The company’s explosion-proof pressure transmitters are reported to provide continuous pressure monitoring in hazardous area applications, specifically within the oil and gas industries. The company’s products serve the process, discrete, semiconductor, aerospace, and defense industries.

MC Assembly (mcati.com) will manufacture custom electronics for the international company, which has manufactured products for the oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, water, wastewater, and power industries since 1931.

“United Electric Controls is a long-established business that represents that type of companies we enjoy partnering with at MC Assembly,” said Jake Kulp, vice president of sales and marketing for MC Assembly, in a press release. “Our commitment as an electronics manufacturing services provider is to provide our clients with a low-risk, total product life cycle solution for their needs.”

Offering tier one EMS capabilities with a mid-tier focus, MC Assembly currently has operations in Melbourne, Florida, Billerica, Massachusetts, and Zacatecas, Mexico. In January, the company nearly doubled its manufacturing presence in Billerica, moving to a new 58,000-square-foot manufacturing space.
