Macrotron Systems Inc., focuses much of its efforts on automating assembly processes to speed production and to lower the cost for customers. The automation process also allows companies to audit the technology to insure process quality control.
Macrotron Systems Inc., a 33-year-old Silicon Valley-based firm working with OEMs, is an ISO 9001: 2008 compliant electronic manufacturing firm that specializes in PCB assembly, ultrasonic welding, testing, laser marking, pad printing and engraving.
Macrotron turns out new product introductions as well as high volume production while working in telecommunications, networking, test instrumentation, medical products, military, and government. To help with product design and development Macrotron works with a variety of 3D CAD systems, including SolidWorks 3D mechanical design, Pro-E / Mechanica for 3D mechanical design, and with AutoDesk Inventor for 3D mechanical design.
This process includes making technical feasibility assessments and recommendations, creating and presenting design review packages for management, providing technical assistance and training to engineers, developing a feasibility model, a prototype model, a pilot model and a production model. This work continues with providing complete product documentation packages as well as manuals. It includes providing renderings and functional animations of products for visual marketing aides.
Macrotron also offers laser marking on a wide range of materials, including on irregular surfaces that don't lend themselves to pad-printing.
One of Macrotron Systems Inc.'s specialties is precise, sharp laser marking for scientific or for promotional purposes made without touching the part.

This work includes indelible marks, no surface contact, sharp image, no pre- or post-treatment needed, precise placement, quick change via software, barcodes and unique serialization and no consumable materials.
Another of Macrotron Systems, Inc.'s specialties is PCB assembly, including lead-free assembly, press fit, double/single-sided reflow processing, surface mount and past and epoxy surface mount technology.

Among its Printed Circuit Board assembly processes, Macrotron excels at paste and epoxy surface mount technology, encapsulation and conformal coating of PCB assemblies, lead-free assembly, intrusion reflow, press fit, wave/selection wave soldering, double/single-sided reflow processing, water soluable and no-clean processes, among others.
