Ohio Laser Opens Newest Facility in Response to Growing Customer Requirements
PLAIN CITY, Ohio—On January 1st 2015, Ohio Laser officially opened its newest facility for cutting and fabricating parts and assemblies. The company said in a release that by adding 22,000 new square feet of production space on its expanding Plain City campus, it is responding again to its growing customer base and the additional customer requirements that come along with it. The new facility also launches a re-alignment in Ohio Laser’s production flow, facilitating an improvement in customer capability.
The new facility immediately adds several new Trumpf Laser machines for cutting a combination of flat plate, sheet and tube, parts and assemblies.
"This new facility is a direct reflection of our forecast for 2015 and beyond," said Greg Simpson, president and owner of Ohio Laser, in the release. "More specifically, it demonstrates our commitment to being able to best respond to customer needs through an increased capacity and a more improved re-alignment of our production work flow."
