PORT RICHEY, Fla.–The injection molding firm Seaway Plastics Engineering LLC (www.seawayplastics.com) recently announced the hiring of Jeffrey Cox, who joined the Seaway team as the director of tooling operations. In this role, Cox will build upon Seaway’s deep experience with injection mold tooling, and will be responsible for developing “safe, streamlined processes on all tooling to produce the highest quality parts with the efficiency Seaway is known for,” the company said in a press release.

"I’m looking forward to creating a team that maximizes department effectiveness while still fully complementing the additional Seaway departments and vision," Cox said in a press release. "I am very happy to play a part in creating a team that will significantly contribute to Seaway Plastics' success.”

Cox brings 37 years of experience in the tooling and mold building industry. He also successfully completed the U.S. government Department of Labor apprenticeship, a four-year program that requires 8,000 hours of training and four years of night school.
