Recirculating Ovens Designed for Energy-Efficient Tempering
WARRINGTON, Pa.--The Series 4000 Recirculating Ovens from Lucifer Furnaces, a manufacturer of industrial heat treating equipment, are reported to be economically designed for energy-efficient tempering, drawing, annealing, and preheating of steel, aluminum, glass, and ceramics. Designed with multi-layered firebrick and mineral block insulation, the Series 4000 ovens are equipped with a stainless steel liner and alloy recirculating fan for uniform temperature, maximum heat storage, and minimum heat loss.
According to the manufacturer, the ovens offer long lasting, heavy-gauge, coil wound, low-watt density heating elements that are mounted in easy-to-replace holders on side walls. The horizontal swing door is equipped with an adjustable latch for a positive seal, and a safety micro-switch shuts off power to the elements and fan when the door is opened. Series 4000 Ovens are available at operating temperatures from 1200°F to 1800°F and in oven chambers from 9 x 9 x 12 inches to 36 x 36 x 72 inches.
