Heavy Gauge Stampings

The stamping of parts from heavy gauge ferrous and non-ferrous metals (1/4 to 3/4) is a straightforward operation in which the metal is shaped or cut through deformation by shearing, punching, drawing, stretching, bending, coining, etc. Production rates are generally low due to the size and weight of the parts. Requires press tonnage in the 500 to 2,000 ton range. KEYWORDS for this process: single hit press, high tonnage, large bedded press, deep draw, metal stampings, carbon steel, stainless steel, high strength low alloy steel, HSLA, brass, bronze, aluminum, guage.
