Switching Regulators

A switching regulator is an electronic voltage source device, a high-efficiency switching circuit that uses a closed-loop system to regulate output voltage, typically by means of a pulse-width modulator. Adjustable switching regulators are electronic devices that are adjustable voltage sources. They provide line and load regulation while accepting varying input voltages and providing adjustable output voltages.
