Titanium Castings

The high reactivity of titanium, presents a special challenge to the foundry. Casting, relatively expensive, is a special method of melting and pouring in the vacuum process. The melting and pouring practice is the VIM and VAR in a water-cooled copper crucible. The principal molding technology is the lost wax investment casting method. Titanium is an element which the market views very differently from other industrial materials. Its use involves state-of-the-art technology, unequalled purity, rarity, quality, and solidity. Titanium's is light in weight with high mechanical resistance and good fatigue resistance. It has excellent resistance to marine, chemical and atmospheric corrosion.
