Wire Straightening

During the manufacturing and handling process of wire, the wire assumes unnatural, undesirable shapes. For reasons of quality and cost it is important to remove or change those curvatures and torsions. The process of straightening is done by rollers to cold-form the material, giving a uniform shape for subsequent uses.

Straighteners for all wire diameters are available with three, five, seven, nine, eleven or thirteen rollers per plane. The most common configuration is a double plane set up with a horizontal and a vertical plane for cast and helix elimination. A variety of designs can accommodate every application, from simple to complex. KEYWORDS for this process: wire bending, wire straighteners
